What is the Limiting Beliefs Quiz?
This quiz identifies your lead's dominant limiting belief pattern through 12 real-life scenarios. Instead of asking abstract questions, it presents situations and reveals how their inner critic responds — then matches them to an archetype that makes the results memorable and actionable.
Why it works: Scenario-based questions feel less like a test and more like self-reflection. The archetype format makes results shareable and creates natural conversation starters.
Perfect for:
Life coaches and mindset coaches
Therapists and counselors
Business coaches
Career coaches
Personal development coaches
NLP practitioners

Underlying belief (e.g., "Fear of Failure")
Customizable description and insights
Score Breakdown Chart

Helps them see the full picture, not just the dominant belief

How Scoring Works
Count answers per belief pattern across all 12 questions
Determine the dominant belief:
If "Balanced Mindset" ≥ 6 answers AND ≥ highest limiting belief → Result is Balanced
If any limiting belief ≥ 4 answers AND at least 1 more than Balanced → Result is that limiting belief
Otherwise → Result is Balanced
This prevents false positives — someone needs to consistently show a pattern to be matched with a limiting belief.
The 12 Scenarios
The quiz covers a range of situations that reveal limiting beliefs:
A new exciting opportunity appears
Receiving feedback (praise + one critique)
Starting a meaningful project
Getting a promotion or big client
Comparing yourself to others
Being asked for a favor when tired

Thoughts about money and resources
A friend seems distant
Considering a bold career move
Receiving praise for your work
Plans changing at the last minute
Each scenario has 5 possible responses, one for each belief pattern plus the balanced response.

Tips for Success
1. Use Archetypes in Your Marketing
"Are you The Protector or The People Pleaser?" is more engaging than asking about limiting beliefs directly.
2. Customize the Result Descriptions
Use the funnel editor to add your own insights, recommendations, and calls to action for each archetype.
3. Create Archetype-Specific Follow-Ups
Someone who gets "The Controller" (perfectionism) needs different messaging than "The Worrier" (scarcity). Tailor your follow-up accordingly.
4. Send Results via Email
Set up an automatic email with the {{Results}} placeholder. Your leads get their archetype, belief pattern, and score breakdown in their inbox.
5. Celebrate the Balanced Ones Too
If someone gets "The Grounded One," acknowledge their healthy mindset while offering ways to maintain it.
