What is the Coaching Readiness Assessment?
This assessment evaluates your potential clients' readiness for coaching using the Transtheoretical Model (Stages of Change). It measures self-awareness, commitment levels, and identifies where they are in their change journey β plus what kind of support they're looking for.
Why it works: Not every lead is ready for coaching. This assessment helps you identify who's ready to commit and how to best serve them based on their current stage.
Perfect for:
Life coaches
Executive coaches
Business coaches
Career coaches
Health and wellness coaches
Any coaching professional
What Your Leads Experience
The assessment is a 3-step wizard with 7 questions total.
Step 1: Self-Awareness
Your lead rates their clarity and awareness:
Goal Clarity: "How clear are you about what you want to achieve?"
Obstacle Awareness: "How aware are you of what's currently holding you back?"
Step 2: Readiness & Commitment
Your lead rates their commitment to change:
Commitment: "How committed are you to making meaningful changes in your life?"
Openness: "How open are you to trying new approaches, even if they feel uncomfortable?"
Investment: "How ready are you to invest time and energy into your growth?"
Step 3: Your Journey
Your lead identifies their stage and support needs:

Tips for Success
1. Use as a Pre-Discovery Call Assessment
Send this before your discovery call. You'll know their readiness level, stage, and what support they want before you even speak.
2. Tailor Your Approach by Stage
Someone in "Pre-contemplation" needs a different conversation than someone in "Action." Use the stage information to meet them where they are.
3. Reference Their Support Needs
If they said they want "Accountability & follow-through," lead with how your coaching provides that. Speak their language.
4. Send Results via Email
Set up an automatic email with the {{Results}} placeholder. Your leads get their readiness profile, stage, and support needs in their inbox.
5. Lower Readiness Isn't Bad
Someone at 30% readiness might just need nurturing. Add them to an email sequence that builds awareness and trust over time.
